The Spirit Person serves as a positive representative of the chapter, helping to foster unity, motivation, and engagement while encouraging others to remain involved and committed to chapter initiatives.
To be considered for selection as the ATL DUNAA Spirit Person, a member must be in good standing with the chapter and maintain active, dues-paid membership. The individual should demonstrate consistent participation in chapter meetings, programs, or events, and exhibit professionalism, reliability, and accountability in fulfilling commitments. Additionally, the member must uphold the chapter’s values through respectful conduct, collaboration, and support of chapter goals. A genuine display of enthusiasm, encouragement, and chapter pride is essential, as the Spirit Person is expected to positively influence morale and represent the ATL DUNAA Chapter in a favorable and inspiring manner.
In addition, the recipient may receive public recognition during a chapter meeting, Spirit Week event, or on official ATL DUNAA Chapter communication platforms, reinforcing the importance of service and engagement. A chapter-branded item—such as apparel, a pin, or other memorabilia—may also be awarded to promote chapter pride and visibility. Depending on chapter resources, a small gift or token of appreciation may be included to further express gratitude.
